How to Take Measurements for a Custom Leather Jacket (Women)
For the best fit, accurate measurements are essential. Use a soft measuring tap and measure over light clothing. Stand straight, relaxed, and keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your Bust, under the arms. Keep the tape level across your back and breathe naturally.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Stand with your feet together.
- Shoulder Width: Measure straight across from one shoulder edge to the other, across the back.
- Sleeve Length: Measure from the shoulder seam down to the wrist bone, keeping your arm slightly bent.
- Jacket Length: Measure from the base of your neck down to your preferred jacket length. Length may vary depending on the style.
